What is water mist
Water mist for cooling is widely used in cooling establishments, verandas, hotels, swimming pools, mushroom farms, greenhouses, gardens, etc. This is achieved by means of special nozzles that turn the water into a fine water mist. When this fine water mist evaporates, it takes the temperature from the air and creates a fresh breeze. For smaller systems and a small number of nozzles with good water pressure, a pump is not necessary. A larger system requires a pump that reaches pressures of 15 bar and above.
During this process the temperature drops by up to 10°C. With water mist cooling systems, an extremely beautiful effect is obtained. It moistens and filters the air, and when falling, the microdrops of the water mist bring down all the dirty particles to the ground. Insects avoid water mist because the microdroplets stick to their wings.
What you need for a standard system:
- min. water pressure 3 bar
- if low - pump
- hose / pipe
- water-hose connection
- water filter
- fittings
- nozzles
- plug
